Recognition demonstrates AIIR’s leadership in bringing AI to building climate control

AIIR’s winning submission featured the system’s May 2026 controls update, which pairs a BACnet-enabled, AIIR-configured Copeland Verdant VX4 thermostat and occupancy sensor with AIIR’s onboard AI processor to sharpen comfort control and building-system integration. The compact, ductless thru-wall heat pump replaces traditional PTAC and VTAC units in multifamily, hospitality, and residential buildings. Machine learning algorithms and smart sensors adapt to occupant behavior and conditions in real time, delivering greater energy efficiency than traditional systems.
